Install bracelet tag
Puts the HAVEN link on the bracelet so any NFC phone opens the profile with one tap. This does NFC Tools' job inside HAVEN where the browser allows it.
-
1
Choose the link
Only this opaque ID goes on the tag. NTAG213, 215 or 216 bracelets all work (the link needs about 50 of their 137+ bytes).
-
2
Write the tag
Tap the button, then hold the bracelet flat against the middle of the phone's back until it confirms. Keep it still for a second.
- Install NFC Tools (by wakdev) from the App Store.
- Copy the link above
- In NFC Tools: Write → Add a record → URL / URI, paste, tap OK.
- Tap Write and hold the bracelet near the top back of the iPhone.
- Don't use "Lock tag" — locking is permanent.
-

Test it
Close the browser, unlock the phone and tap the bracelet to it. A notification or banner should open HAVEN on Jordan M.
How HAVEN connects
Tap any piece to see what it does and what's real in this prototype.
1 · NFC / RFID bracelet
Once written, any NFC phone (iPhone XS or newer, most Android phones) opens HAVEN when the bracelet is tapped — no app needed on the reading phone.
Phones read 13.56 MHz NFC tags (NTAG213/215/216 work best). Older 125 kHz RFID bracelets can't be read by a phone — use a USB or Bluetooth reader, which types the tag's ID like a keyboard. Click the box and scan:
2 · Tile
Tiles constantly broadcast a Bluetooth ID registered to Tile (0xFEED / 0xFEEC). Chrome on Android, Windows, macOS or ChromeOS can list Tiles in range of this phone. That proves "a Tile is within roughly 30 m of this searcher" and goes straight into the event record. It can't tell two Tiles apart reliably, or show where the Tile network last saw it.
The Tile app uses the whole Tile network and can ring the Tile. HAVEN can't read that app, so the guardian taps Confirm Tile detected. Works on every phone, iPhone included.
A Feather advertising as HAVEN-001 with the Nordic UART service. The guardian
screen connects to it (no other app), records a sighting with the phone's location, and sends
Find (F) back to the wearable — today an LED and Serial Monitor, later a
vibration motor or buzzer. Tile and Life360 offer no public API for this.
